It’s hard to decide where to begin when describing the pandemonium that occurred inside the University of Arizona’s football stadium when the Wildcats squared off against UCLA last week.

Hunky Arizona senior Jacen Lankow put on a referee outfit over a sweet pair of pink speedos and brazenly ran onto the field in the middle of the game looking just like any other official. But his identity as an imposter was quickly revealed when he ripped off the uniform like a seasoned stripper and streaked down the gridiron looking very pretty in pink. Security quickly tackled the prankster, bringing an end to the gag, right? Not exactly.

Somehow the incident ignited an all out brawl when both teams cleared their benches and began fighting each other on the field. Ten players were suspended and Lankow himself has put both his diploma and his freedom at risk. The university may not let him graduate and the judicial system could put him away for a year and half for falsifying the documents that got him on the field.

So why did the unapologetic Lankow pull this stunt? He wanted to get the attention of the producers of the reality tv game show Wipeout. Well, this is the University of Arizona, after all. Not Harvard.

Guys run in Salt Lake City to show that not everyone there wears magic underwear.

What do you do when you’re from Utah and fed up with the ultra-conservative image of your state? Organize an underwear run, of course.

“I think so many people have all these misconceptions about Utahns because the angry, uptight ones are so vocal. And I’d like to see that change, even just a little,” explained organizer Nick Porter. “I want to show a more interesting side of Utah.”

(Our misconception was that they were actually called “Utahns.”)

So Porter invited a few hundred Facebook friends to disrobe in protest of Utah’s uptightness and a few thousand confirmed their attendance. This past weekend around three thousand stripped down to their boxers, briefs, bras, or undies and ran through the heavily Morman Salt Lake City in a united show of near-naked irreverence.

However, about 200 actually lined up and dropped trough. To show their gratitude to all their unclothed costumers, anyone beyond the 100 mark got a 50% discount. Similar promotions were also held at the company’s New York, Barcelona, Madrid, and Amsterdam locations.

Los Angeles’ KTLA was on the scene for a lighthearted expose’. Although their coverage did take a creepy turn with a father/daughter duo and a green-screened weatherman.
